About Me
Born in Manchester (UK) more years ago than I care to remember and now living not far from that there London. By day I work in HR, by night I am a culinary goddess (in my head anyway!). From mid-June 2015, I will be travelling to Paris where I will spend 6 weeks' learning all the basics of French pâtisserie - I'm preparing to take on some pounds!-

Everything is starting to get real now . . .
After waiting what seemed like an age, I have finally received my course timetable. I am so excited to see my activities for the next 6 weeks before my eyes but even more excited to start filling all my free time with all the other fun things that I am looking forward to as part of my Parisian adventure.
For the last year, I have been collating a list of exhibitions, quirky backstreets and intimate restaurants that I am planning to visit – I can’t wait to share them all with you and promise a few more images than I am posting right now.
I have already received a number of invitations from my very dear friend and host who, minutes after receiving my timetable, had invited me to the theatre and a number of dinners – oh how I missed French life! For the purposes of this blog, he shall be known as ‘P’ (I’m sure dear reader that you will be hearing much more about him in the coming weeks . . . ).
